The next Merly Impressions crop will be on Saturday 21st November 2015, so I have made a start on the two layouts that will be in the optional crop kit. I am using a few of the papers & the collectable pack from the gorgeous “Fairy Dust” Kaisercraft collection – it is an absolutely beautiful collection which features whimsical images of butterflies, dandelions & fairies in teals & lilacs.
So after some fussy cutting, die cutting & sewing and layout no one almost complete, here is a little sneak peek.
Just some crystal lacquer and a bit of glitter glue here and there will finish it off.
I will have a sneak peek of the second layout very soon.
I had a fabulous crafty day with some lovely friends last week, we all meet in a village hall on a Thursday and do our own crafty thing. I normally take my Merly Crop kit to do, but this time I thought I would just do something just for fun.
I’m not normally one for getting inky & messy, but had so much fun doing this. I used some Ranger Mini Distress ink pads and some Kaisercraft background Texture Stamps. The Zombie (or Walker if you are a Walking Dead fan 😀 ) was stamped directly onto the white card, then stamped again onto plain paper this one was then cut out and placed over the one that was stamped directly onto the card, this way when you do all the inking & stamping you don’t get any on your image. When you have finished just peel of the mask to reveal the one underneath.
The finished piece was then layered onto some co-ordinating Kaisercraft card stock. I will be getting messy again!
I hope you enjoyed my post.
