Things are starting to get much busier around here due to the up and coming Merly Impressions Scrapbooking Retreat in July – and my dining table is no longer a dining table, it’s my stock sorting/holding table and projects half done table and what ever else I can fit on there.
and that pile of papers and card on the end are for the May Merly Crop.
Lovely new G45 papers in the box, hoping to make up an extra kit to sell at the retreat.
Oh and there is a sneak peek of the layout for May crop, lovely pink and floral and my two finished G45 layouts using the gorgeous Portrait of a Lady collection.
Things will get worse once the products start to arrive, when that happens there won’t be much floor space left either.
Where has the time gone, again I am a bit behind with my posts.
But here are the two layouts I created for the November Merly Crop. I used the gorgeous Ubud Dreams Kaisercraft collection, one of my favourites in 2016. Here is the first layout, I just love these colours and the beautiful Mandalas.
……and some close ups.
…….and here is the second layout, I had so much fun fussy cutting all the flowers and just the the Kemala paper with all those tiles on.
…..and here are some close ups of this layout.
You can find the complete Ubud Dreams collection here.
June Merly Crop & Kit.
I just want to say many thanks to everyone who attended the June Merly Crop. We hope everyone enjoyed the day and the kit, we had a fabulous time it is always so lovely to catch up with everyone. Here are just a few photo’s of the day.
Busy cutting and sticking.
Merley having fun helping set up.
the Layouts in the crop kit.
I designed the kit for June using the lovely “Secret Garden” Kaisercraft collection, which was also released in June. The kit included detailed instructions and loads of stash to make three layouts!!
Here is the first layout, which I’ve called “Favourite Place” it uses one coloured photo measuring 13cm wide x 9cm high. The photo was taken at our favourite holiday destination, we have been going to Natural Retreats in Yorkshire for six years now, this time (June 2014 we were joined by Debbie, Adrian, Alex & the very cute, Alfie the dog).
The second layout which I’ve called “Love You” also uses one coloured photo measuring 13cm wide x 9cm high. This photo of me and my daughter Merley was taken at my nieces wedding also in June 2014.
The third layout which used all the left overs uses two photos about 5.5cm wide x 7.5cm high. This photo is of Merley again modeling the headband she created for her art work at school.
For anyone that couldn’t come to the crop, the kit was available to purchase on-line at Merly Impressions. You can also view all the Merly crop posts on the Merly Blog and you can find details and future crop dates. You can also be kept updated and see sneak peaks over on the Merly Crop/Retreat facebook page.
I’ll be back soon and thank you for any comments they are very much appreciated.
